Al-Mina Port Signs Coach Louay Salah to Lead the Team in the New Season
Tuesday 22-07-2025
The administrative body of Al-Mina Club officially announced its contract with coach Louay Salah to lead the team during the upcoming football season, succeeding the Syrian coach Hossam Al-Sayed, whose tenure with the team ended at the conclusion of last season.

Louay Salah has a promising coaching resume despite his recent experience in the technical leadership role, having previously supervised Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya Club and led the Electricity team, where he achieved good performances that received praise from observers, especially in terms of defensive organization and the fighting spirit displayed by the team under his supervision.

This change comes as part of the management's efforts to build a new technical project that aligns with the prestigious club's ambitions to return to the forefront and engage in serious competition, following years of decline and technical instability.

According to sources close to the club's management, the choice of Louay Salah came after studying several names, but the management was highly convinced of his abilities, especially since he is known for his capacity to handle large teams and work under pressure, which perfectly aligns with the nature of Al-Mina Club.

For his part, the new coach is expected to begin his duties in the coming days, as he is set to lead the preparations for the new season and oversee the transfer period to select players that fit his technical vision and align with the club's objectives.

Al-Mina fans, for their part, welcomed this step in hopes that Louay Salah can restore the spirit and discipline to the team and lead it to achieve results that befit the name and history of the club, which is considered one of the oldest clubs in Iraqi football.
