
Officially: The Saudi Federation Announces Al-Hilal's Apology for Participating in the Saudi Super Cup
The Saudi Football Federation announced today, Monday, that it received an official letter from Al-Hilal Club confirming the first team's apology for not participating in the Saudi Super Cup for the 2025/2026 season, scheduled to be held in Hong Kong from August 19 to 23.
The Saudi Federation clarified in an official statement that it will begin taking the necessary legal actions regarding this apology, in accordance with the approved regulations and systems, through the relevant committees in the federation.
The statement confirmed that the Competitions Committee will apply the regulatory provisions related to the Super Cup competition, as soon as the legal procedures concerning Al-Hilal's withdrawal from the tournament are completed.
