Italian newspaper "La Gazzetta dello Sport" revealed that Nigerian Atalanta striker Ademola Lookman has suffered a calf injury that could keep him out of action for several weeks, amidst Inter Milan's interest in signing him during the current summer transfer window.

The newspaper explained that Lookman felt discomfort in his leg after a training session last Wednesday, and the pain worsened when kicking the ball, prompting him to undergo medical examinations to determine the severity of the injury, which will temporarily prevent him from fully participating in the team's training.

This comes at a time when Inter Milan has made an initial offer of 40 million euros for Lookman's services, but Atalanta rejected the offer and insists on receiving 50 million euros to part with the player.

According to reports, Lookman has reached an unofficial agreement with Inter Milan and has expressed a strong desire to move to Inter, awaiting a final agreement between the two clubs.
