Dams: My Move to Al-Ahli is the Best Decision of My Life

Belgian left-back Matteo Dams confirmed that he does not regret his decision to play in the Roshen Saudi League.

Dams stated in an interview with the media center of Al-Ahli: "My move to Al-Ahli is the best decision I have made in my life."

He continued, saying: "What I like most about Saudi Arabia? The environment, the people, and the safety. Here you can go out and do what you want; the place is safe, and everyone is cooperative, whether in Jeddah or in Saudi Arabia in general."

He added: "When I was young, Lionel Messi was my idol, and if I had to choose another player, it would be Kevin De Bruyne because his style of play and vision on the field are amazing. He sees everything; I think both have been a great source of inspiration for me."

He concluded: "I will continue to work hard every day to achieve the AFC Champions League again, and to win more awards compared to last season. We will do our utmost at both individual and team levels, and if we do that, we will achieve championships."
