Olympic Safi Opens Summer Transfer Market with Two Quality Signings
The Olympic Safi football club announced, through an official statement, the completion of two distinguished signings to bolster the first team in preparation for the new sports season, which will witness the team's first continental participation in the African Confederation Cup.
Olympic Safi has signed player Karim Al-Kousha on a contract that extends for two sports seasons. Al-Kousha plays as an attacking midfielder and right winger, born on August 31, 2000. He has previously played for several clubs in Spain, including Girona, Gimnàstic, and Terrassa, in addition to a professional stint in the Azerbaijani league with FC Kapaz.
The club also contracted right-back Hamza Al-Samoumi, in a deal returning home with a two-season contract, after extensive experiences inside and outside Morocco. Al-Samoumi, born on November 13, 1992, is one of the graduates of the Olympic Safi training center and has previously represented clubs such as Fath Rabat, Mouloudia Oujda, and RS Berkane, alongside an external experience in the Libyan league with Al-Suqour Club.
These signings confirm the management's desire at Olympic Safi to strengthen its squad with experienced and seasoned players, capable of making a significant impact in the national league and competing strongly in the team's first continental appearance.
