Brentford Club announced through its official website the signing of English star Jordan Henderson on a free transfer with a two-year contract, following his departure from Ajax in the Netherlands this summer.

Henderson, who has 84 international caps with the England national team, returns to the Premier League after stints with Al-Ettifaq and Ajax, and after a golden career with Liverpool where he achieved the Premier League, the Champions League, the FA Cup, and other titles, in addition to being awarded the Best Player in England in 2019.

Brentford's coach Keith Andrews described him as an exceptional leader and confirmed that he will add experience and a strong personality to the team.

Henderson has extensive international and European experience, along with being honored with the title of Member of the British Empire in recognition of his sports and charitable contributions.
