Arsenal has shown interest in signing English star Eberechi Eze, a player from Crystal Palace, but Bayern Munich seems determined to thwart the Gunners' efforts and snatch the player during the ongoing summer transfer window.

According to a report published by the British newspaper "The Sun", Bayern Munich's coach is seeking to sign Eze to reunite him with his teammate Michael Olise, especially given the team's need to compensate for the absence of Jamal Musiala due to injury, along with Leroy Sané's departure from the squad.

Eze, who is 27 years old, has a release clause in his contract with Crystal Palace valued at £68 million, and his current contract with the club expires in June 2027.

The report confirmed that Arsenal has not yet made any official offer to sign Eze, which gives Bayern Munich a greater opportunity to act. The player has participated in 167 matches with Crystal Palace in various competitions, scoring 40 goals and assisting 28 others.
