Thursday 10-07-2025
The preparations for Al-Ettifaq's first football team for the new sports season have started with the necessary medical examinations for the players, as part of an early preparation plan led by national coach Saad Al-Shahrani.

On Wednesday, the first batch of players underwent medical examinations at a private hospital, followed by physical tests conducted at the club's headquarters in Dammam.

These examinations are scheduled to continue on Thursday morning with the rest of the team members, before the official group training begins on Friday evening at the club's stadium.

The preparation plan includes two main phases, with the first being internal through daily training sessions in Dammam, while the second phase will take place in two external camps in Portugal and Spain.

The first external camp in Portugal will start in mid-July and will last for 15 days, after which the team will head to Spain on the 31st of the same month to continue its preparations until August 8.

It is expected that Al-Ettifaq will play five friendly matches during its camps, including two matches in Portugal against Portimonense and Farense, and three matches in Spain against Cádiz, Cádiz Mirand, and Al-Jazira from the UAE.
