The official website of the Italian club Fiorentina announced the completion of the contract with striker Edin Dzeko, as the club obtained the rights to benefit from the player's services.

Dzeko, born in Sarajevo on March 17, 1986, signed a contract with Fiorentina that extends until June 30, 2026, with an automatic renewal option for the contract until June 30, 2027, upon meeting specific conditions.

In the past season, Dzeko participated with the Turkish team Fenerbahçe in 53 matches, scoring 21 goals and providing 8 assists, and he has an impressive record with clubs such as Wolfsburg, Manchester City, Roma, and Inter, where he scored 369 goals and provided 153 assists throughout his career.

Dzeko holds many major titles at the club level, including the Bundesliga, the Premier League, and the FA Cup, and he has represented the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team in 141 international matches, scoring 68 goals and providing 29 assists.
