The French network "RMC" revealed that Saudi club Al-Hilal has become one of the leading clubs actively pursuing the promising French striker Hugo Ekitike, currently a star at Frankfurt and a former player of Paris Saint-Germain.

The network stated that Al-Hilal has begun serious steps towards the player, as the blue club is working on preparing an official offer to send to Frankfurt and Ekitike's agent in the coming days, hoping to finalize the deal.

Al-Hilal faces fierce competition from English club Newcastle and Saudi club Al-Qadisiyah, both of which have also expressed interest in signing the player, especially with Chelsea exiting the race for the signing.

Despite the tempting offers on the table, reports indicate that Ekitike prefers to stay in Europe and aspires to continue his football career in one of the major leagues in the upcoming phase.

The deal is expected to exceed 100 million euros, making it one of the largest transfers in the current transfer market, if one of the three clubs can convince both the player and the German club.
