Ateef: Messi Would Be a Great Addition if Joined Al-Shabab
Ahmed Ateef, the former Saudi football star, believes that Argentine star Lionel Messi of Inter Miami would be a great addition to Al-Shabab if the club were to sign him.
Ateef stated in a television interview: "Messi would be a huge addition to Al-Shabab, as the club cannot bring in a superstar player."
He added: "If Messi were in the ranks of Al-Shabab, the team would only need 3 or 4 other players, and would not require 8 foreign contracts like other clubs, because Messi is enough."
Recent reports have confirmed the interest of Al-Hilal and Al-Ahli in signing Messi this summer.
