A Sharp Attack on Yaissle and Demands for Winning All Local Championships
Former Saudi star Ahmad Attif has sharply criticized German coach Matthias Yaissle, the head coach of Al-Ahli team, asserting that the upcoming phase cannot tolerate any justifications or new failures from the coach.
Attif emphasized that Yaissle no longer has the luxury of failure, stating: "The time for excuses is over; next season must be crowned with three championships: the league, the King’s Cup, and the Asian Elite, and there is no option but success."
Attif's remarks sparked immediate reactions, with sports journalist Khalid Al-Shunaif questioning: "All championships? What will be left for the other clubs then?" expressing his astonishment at the high expectations.
In response, Ahmad Attif firmly and confidently said: "Why not? The team has the technical and financial capabilities, and last season was disappointing on all fronts, and there is no room for repeating failures."
Attif added: "Yaissle has not succeeded locally despite all the support provided to him, and the Al-Ahli management must hold him fully accountable for any future setbacks, as the fans are waiting for championships."
