Reports have revealed that a Saudi club, whose name has not yet been disclosed, has submitted an official request to the Recruitment Committee of the Saudi Football Federation, aiming to sign Polish star Robert Lewandowski during the ongoing summer transfer window.

The documents of the request, which sources have reviewed, indicate that the club wishes to contract the 36-year-old Barcelona striker.

Reports suggest that the Saudi offer includes an attractive annual salary that far exceeds what the player currently earns in Europe.

Lewandowski is considered one of the most prominent global strikers of the last decade, having scored more than 400 goals in his career with Borussia Dortmund, Bayern Munich, and Barcelona, and has won numerous individual and collective titles, most notably the European Golden Shoe and the UEFA Champions League.
