Player Sadiq Jamal officially announced today his departure from Diyala Club after three fruitful seasons spent with the team, during which he witnessed significant milestones in his football career, most notably winning the Iraqi Premier League title and directly contributing to the team's promotion to the Iraq Stars League, and then ensuring their stay in it during the last season.

Sadiq wrote an emotional farewell message via his official account, stating:

"It's hard to say goodbye, but these are the fates of life and the state of football. Words of thanks are not enough for Diyala Club, the mother that has been a blessing for me after God Almighty. Thank you to the Diyala fans, the management, the players, the coaches, and the administrators for everything they have provided me during these three remarkable seasons."

He added:
