Salah After the Death of His Teammate: Afraid to Return to Liverpool
Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, Liverpool's striker, expressed his deep shock at the news of the death of his Portuguese teammate Diogo Jota along with his brother in a car accident.
Salah wrote on his accounts: "I am at a loss for words. Until yesterday, I never imagined that anything would scare me from returning to Liverpool after the break."
He continued: "Team members come and go, but not in this way. It will be very difficult to accept Diogo's absence when we return."
He added: "I sympathize with his wife and children, and of course his parents who suddenly lost their sons. Everyone close to Diogo and his brother Andre needs all the possible support. We will never forget them."
