Filippo Inzaghi Defends His Brother's Decision to Coach Al-Hilal
Filippo Inzaghi, the head coach of Palermo and former Milan striker, defended his brother Simone Inzaghi's decision to leave Inter Milan to coach Al-Hilal.
Filippo stated in remarks reported by Sky Sports: "These are personal matters. All I know is that Simone made his decision after the Champions League final, because sometimes you read nonsense."
He continued: "There were requests, but he always prioritized Inter. I think after four years, especially in the last three years, and after reaching two Champions League finals, he probably thought he couldn't achieve more than that."
He added: "He will have a different and beneficial experience. Then, after two years, he will return to Europe and continue what he has done so far in our region."
