Pyramids Star Approaches Al-Fateh in Summer Transfer Market

Reports have revealed that Congolese striker Viston Mayeli, a player for Egypt's Pyramids FC, is nearing a move to Saudi Arabia's Al-Fateh during the upcoming summer transfer window.

The South African newspaper Soccer Laduma reported today, Thursday, that the player is very close to officially signing with Al-Fateh, in a move that could significantly strengthen the Saudi team's attack in preparation for the new season.

Mayeli had transferred to Pyramids in the summer of the 2023/2024 season from Tanzanian club Young Africans, after impressing notably in African competitions.

During the last season 2024/2025, the 31-year-old Congolese player recorded impressive numbers with Pyramids, participating in 38 matches across all competitions, where he managed to score 18 goals and provide two assists.

Details of the deal are expected to become clear in the coming days, amid widespread interest from Al-Fateh fans and Saudi league followers in knowing the outcome of the negotiations.
