Kadsh's Injury Disrupts Green's Plans Before the Match Against America
Tuesday 17-06-2025
The Saudi national team officially announced the injury of defender Hassan Kadsh in the hamstring, following precise medical examinations he underwent on Tuesday morning, after participating against Haiti in the opening matches of the Green in the Gold Cup.

Kadsh sustained the injury during the match against Haiti, which ended in a Saudi victory with a goal to none, forcing him to leave the field in the 30th minute, where defender Abdullah Madu replaced him in the back line.

According to what was reported by the "Al-Riyadiyah" newspaper, the player will undergo additional medical scans to determine his ability to return for the anticipated match against the American team, scheduled to take place early Friday at the "Q2" stadium.

The team's training session held on Monday saw the players divided into two groups, with the starters from the Haiti match undergoing recovery training, while the remaining players engaged in intense technical and physical drills, including warm-up, passing, and small-sided games.

Kadsh's potential absence may disrupt the defensive options of French coach Hervé Renard, especially since the match against America is a true test of the Green's ambitions in the tournament, amidst hopes of regaining all elements before the starting whistle.
