
Officially: Tottenham Announces Permanent Signing of Mathys Tel
The English club Tottenham Hotspur announced today that it has officially signed French star Mathys Tel permanently from German club Bayern Munich.
Tel had played for Tottenham last season on loan from the Bavarian club before the London club decided to activate the permanent purchase option.
Tottenham confirmed in an official statement on its website that it has signed Mathys Tel to a contract that extends until June 30, 2031.
The French forward made his first appearance for Tottenham as a substitute against Liverpool in the Carabao Cup, while he played his first match as a starter against Aston Villa in the FA Cup, scoring his first goal for the Spurs from a penalty in the 3-1 victory over Southampton in the Premier League.
Mathys Tel has played 20 matches with Tottenham in all competitions during the last season, in which he scored 3 goals.
