
Sane: Galatasaray fans are amazing, and I am happy to be among them
Galatasaray Turkish club is close to signing German winger Leroy Sane from Bayern Munich, in a major deal considered one of the most notable transfers of the summer market in European football.
The Turkish club clarified in an official statement that Sane arrived in Istanbul and successfully underwent a medical examination, before signing his contracts to join the team, despite being included in Bayern Munich's list for the 2025 Club World Cup.
Sane expressed his great happiness at joining Galatasaray, stating in his remarks: "I am very happy to be here, I can't describe my feelings, the fans were amazing when I played against them before, and now they will be supporting me, I am excited to play my first match in the jersey of this club."
He added: "The atmosphere at Galatasaray's stadium had a significant impact on my decision, along with the interest of the management and coach Okan Buruk in signing me."
Leroy Sane is approaching the beginning of a new phase in his professional career with Galatasaray, after successful experiences with Bayern Munich and Manchester City, and previously Schalke.
