Al-Nasr UAE Club announced today, Sunday, that it has officially signed Serbian coach Slavisa Jokanović to take over the technical leadership of the first team for one season, until June 2026, succeeding Dutchman Alfred Schreuder.

Jokanović has previous experience in the Arab region, having coached Al-Gharafa in Qatar between 2019 and 2021, and he led both Watford and Fulham in England to promotion to the Premier League in the 2014/2015 and 2017/2018 seasons, respectively.

The Serbian coach previously led Partizan Belgrade to win the league and domestic cup titles twice in a row since 2007, and he won the Thai league unbeaten with Muangthong United in 2012.

His last coaching stint was with Dynamo Moscow in Russia before signing with Al-Nasr.
