Jose Gomes, the coach of Al-Fateh Saudi Arabia, confirmed that he will continue in his position and denied rumors linking him to coaching Al-Ahly of Egypt.
The Portuguese coach stated in remarks to reporters: "Many rumors follow me, such as coaching Al-Ahly, but I am not obliged to respond to every speculation. I confirm that I will continue with Al-Fateh next season."
He added: "I will continue coaching Al-Fateh, but I need some rest before preparing for the next season."
He concluded his remarks by saying: "Frequent changes of coaches in Saudi Arabia is a negative thing; success requires work and clear organization from the beginning of the season."
Al-Fateh achieved a victory over their counterpart Al-Nassr yesterday, Monday, with a score of 3-2 in the match of the 34th and final round of the Roshan Saudi League.
