Pape Thiaw, the head coach of the Senegal national team, announced the list of the Lions of Teranga, in preparation for the international break in June, during which the team will play two friendly matches against Ireland and England on the 6th and 10th of the same month.

The list saw a major surprise with the absence of star Sadio Mane, the striker for Al Nassr Saudi Arabia, in a decision that caught attention ahead of the anticipated matches.

Thiaw relied on a group of professional players in Europe alongside several young elements aspiring to establish themselves within the first team.

These preparations come as part of Senegal's readiness for upcoming continental and international competitions, as the coaching staff aims to build a more competitive team.
