The Portuguese club Porto intends to officially open negotiations with the management of Al-Ahli Saudi to explore the possibility of acquiring the Spanish star Gabriel Vega, immediately after the last round of the Roshen League against Al-Riyadh.

According to the Portuguese newspaper 'O Jogo', the Saudi club has set the player's sale price at 23 million euros, an amount that Porto's management considers high given their expected offer ceiling during the summer transfer window.

Porto's management is counting on Gabriel Vega's personal desire to move to the Portuguese team, which may help facilitate the deal in the coming weeks as summer preparations begin.

Vega joined Al-Ahli in the summer of 2023 from Celta Vigo for a fee of 40 million euros, making it one of the team's most significant signings during that transfer window.

Since his arrival, Vega has participated in 65 matches with Al-Ahli, successfully scoring 12 goals and providing 10 assists, making him one of the influential players in the team's lineup throughout the season.
