Sporting Lisbon Wins the Portuguese Cup Against Benfica

Sporting Lisbon was crowned the champion of the Portuguese Cup after defeating Benfica in the final with a score of 3-1 today, Sunday, at the national stadium.

Benfica took the lead through Orkun Kokcu in the 47th minute, while Sporting equalized in the 90+11th minute with a penalty from Viktor Gyökeres.

In the 99th minute, Sporting scored a second goal through Konrad Laimer, while Francisco Trincão added a third goal in the 120th minute.

It is worth noting that Sporting also won the Portuguese league title this season.
