Sport critic Mishaal Al-Otaibi revealed that the position of German coach Matthias Yaisleh at the helm of Al-Ahli's technical staff remains ambiguous, amidst the stalled negotiations for renewing his contract.

Al-Otaibi confirmed during his appearance on the program "Dourina Ghair" that Yaisleh desires to improve the terms of his current contract and is insisting on extending its duration for several seasons instead of just one.

He pointed out that the German coach is seeking to secure a stable coaching future with Al-Ahli by obtaining a higher salary and a long-term contract that reflects his professional ambitions.

Al-Otaibi emphasized that Yaisleh's continuation is contingent upon the management's approval of his financial and technical demands, which have not received a decisive response so far.

He confirmed that the coach will not continue his journey with the team if the club insists on his current contract, putting his future in jeopardy as the end of the season approaches.
