Al Ahly star Ali Majrashi revealed the reasons behind the remarkable performance of his Algerian teammate Riyad Mahrez this season.

Majrashi explained during his appearance on the program "Dourina Ghair" that Mahrez has been regularly undergoing extra training sessions to enhance his performance and prove his abilities with the team.

He pointed out that Mahrez's commitment to hard work outside of official training times has helped him present a different and more impactful version of himself compared to last season.

Majrashi added that Mahrez has become more disciplined on the field, especially defensively, which has allowed him to provide greater support to his teammates and contribute to improving their performance as well.

He concluded his remarks by praising his teammate, saying: "Riyad is a great player, and I have learned a lot from him, and the positive impact of his development has clearly reflected on my defensive performance."
