Zamalek Member: We are working on settling Gomes' dues
Thursday 22-05-2025
Amr Adham, a member of the Zamalek Club Board, revealed that the complaint of Polish player Konrad Michalak to the International Federation "FIFA", regarding his financial dues with the club, is not recent as it has been presented in some media outlets recently.

Adham confirmed, in press statements, that Michalak's complaint against Zamalek was submitted since his departure, and that the club management is fully aware of it, and so far FIFA has not issued any decision regarding the complaint.

The Zamalek member expressed his astonishment at the timing of the issue being raised now despite no developments having occurred, suggesting it may be related to Zamalek's success in resolving many cases and settling the dues of former players and coaches.

Adham also emphasized that the council is currently working on settling the dues of former Portuguese coach Jose Gomes and his assistant staff, especially since he terminated his contract and left just before his dues were settled.

The Zamalek member confirmed that the matter will be resolved and Gomes will receive his full rights, in addition to the case of Senegalese player Ibrahima Nday, a former team member.

He pointed out that Zamalek Club received yesterday a correspondence from the lawyer of former coach Jaime Pacheco, confirming that the coach has received his dues from the club.
