Khaled Al-Ghandour confirmed that the clubs Zamalek and Pyramids did not request the arrival of foreign referees for the Egypt Cup final match.
The Egypt Cup final match between Zamalek and Pyramids will take place on Thursday, June 5th.
Al-Ghandour added via the "Stadium Al-Mihrab" program: "Officials from the Referees Committee confirmed that the Football Association has not notified them about bringing in foreign referees for the Egypt Cup final, because the clubs Zamalek and Pyramids have not sent official letters yet."
He continued: "As of this moment, the match is scheduled to be held with Egyptian referees, and there are several names being considered, the most prominent of which is the international referee Mohamed Maarouf."
