Press sources revealed that Zamalek club officials intend to hold a session with Mohamed El-Sayed, the team's midfielder, in the upcoming period to finalize the extension of his contract, which expires at the end of next season.

According to the sources, the Zamalek administration will meet with Mohamed El-Sayed after the break he received following his participation with the Egyptian youth national team in the Africa U-20 Cup of Nations.

Reports clarified that El-Sayed does not mind extending his contract with Zamalek and has not signed with Al-Ahly as recently rumored, but he was waiting for the conclusion of his participation with the Egyptian youth team before agreeing with the administration on the extension.

The Zamalek club management had decided to return Mohamed El-Sayed to training with the youth team to pressure him to extend his contract, after the club learned of Al-Ahly's interest in signing him for free in the summer of 2026.
