Porto Approaches Signing of Vega
The Spanish player Gabriel Vega of Al-Ahli Jeddah is nearing his departure from the club and the end of his journey with the team, moving to the Portuguese club Porto.
The Al-Ahli management contracted with player Gabriel Vega in the summer of 2023 from Celta Vigo, but he did not participate consistently under the leadership of German coach Matthias Jaissle in his first season.
According to sources, Porto's management has entered advanced negotiations with their counterparts at Al-Ahli to acquire the player for 17 million euros.
It is worth noting that Vega participated with Al-Ahli in 64 matches across all competitions, scoring 12 goals and providing 10 assists, and won the AFC Champions League title with the Jeddah team.
