Marco Verratti is heading towards investment in football
Reports have indicated that Italian star Marco Verratti, currently a midfielder for Qatari club Al-Arabi, is on the verge of completing a deal to purchase a significant stake in his former club Pescara.
According to the website "Football Italia," the 32-year-old Verratti has already signed a preliminary agreement to acquire approximately 40% of Pescara's shares for an estimated amount of around 1.5 million euros.
The deal is expected to be finalized officially in the coming weeks.
Pescara is the only club Verratti represented in Italy, where he began his career at the age of 15 and was a key player for the team.
