RS Berkane Targets Signing Karl Toko Ekambi

Cameroonian international Carl Toko Ekambi has entered the sights of RS Berkane, as the orange-clad club's management seeks to bolster their attacking line during the summer transfer window in preparation for the upcoming football season.

According to "Afrikfoot," Renaissance Berkane officials are exploring the possibility of signing the Cameroonian striker, taking advantage of his current status as a free agent after his contract with Al Arabi Qatar has ended.

Ikambi, at 33 years old, represents an option that attracts the volcanic team's interest given his vast experience, having played in various European and Arab leagues throughout his career.

The Cameroonian forward began his career with several French clubs, including Paris FC, Sochaux, Angers, Olympique Lyon, and Rennes. He also had an experience in the Spanish league wearing the Villarreal jersey.

Karl Toko Ekambi has made his way to the Arab region, where he experienced a stint in the Saudi league before transitioning to the Qatari league.

Last season, the Cameroonian forward represented Al-Fateh in Saudi Arabia, before moving to Al-Arabi in Qatar in January 2026. However, his experience with the Qatari club officially ended in July 2026, making him a free agent thereafter.
