Carvajal: We Look Forward to Our Match Against Al-Hilal
Spanish right-back Dani Carvajal of Real Madrid confirmed that he is eagerly looking forward to playing against Saudi Arabia's Al-Hilal in the opening match of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
Real Madrid is placed alongside Saudi Al-Hilal, Austrian Salzburg, and Mexican Pachuca in Group E of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup in the United States.
According to media sources, it is expected that Carvajal will return to participate against Al-Hilal in the Club World Cup after a long absence from the field since last October due to a torn ACL.
Carvajal stated in his remarks: "I expect this to be a wonderful tournament; I imagine it will be similar to the World Cup for national teams, as the whole country will watch the tournament with great enthusiasm, and it will achieve tremendous success."
He added: "The tournament will bring together many teams from around the world, with different playing styles, which makes it extremely special."
He continued: "We have previously played against Pachuca and Salzburg, so we know them, and we are eagerly looking forward to our first match against Al-Hilal on June 18."
