
Officially: Salah Wins Premier League Player of the Year Award from the Football Writers' Association
The English Football Writers' Association announced that Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, Liverpool's winger, has won the Premier League Player of the Year award for the 2024/2025 season, following a vote that involved more than 900 members of the association.
Salah received a staggering 90% of the votes, earning the award for the third time in his career after winning it in 2018 and 2022, thus equaling the record of Arsenal legend Thierry Henry as the second most awarded player in the history of the award.
Mohamed Salah had an exceptional season, leading Liverpool to clinch the Premier League title four rounds before the end, topping the league's scoring table with 38 goals, in addition to 18 assists, making him the player with the most goal contributions this season.
