Al-Shaneef: Possibility of a Saudi Club Withdrawing from Asian Participation
Khaled Al-Shaneef, the former Saudi football star, revealed the possibility of one of the Saudi clubs withdrawing from participation in the AFC Champions League 2 next season.
Al-Shaneef said in televised statements: "One of the Saudi clubs may withdraw from participating in the AFC Champions League 2 next season, and it could be Al-Hilal or Al-Nasr."
The champion of the Roshan Saudi League and its runner-up will participate in the elite AFC Champions League alongside Al-Ahli as the title holder.
Meanwhile, the third-placed team in the Roshan Saudi League will participate in the AFC Champions League 2.
