Inter Milan Faces a Major Setback Before Facing Barcelona
Monday 05-05-2025
It seems that Inter Milan will play their anticipated match against Barcelona in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League semi-finals amidst significant absences, most notably Frenchman Benjamin Pavard, who is suffering from ankle pain.

According to reports, Pavard felt discomfort in his injured ankle during training on Monday, prompting coach Simone Inzaghi to try out Jan Bisseck as his replacement in the starting lineup.

Despite his partial participation in the training session, his status has not yet been determined, and a final decision regarding his readiness will be made on Tuesday morning.

On a positive note, Argentine star Lautaro Martinez participated normally in training and is considered part of the starting lineup alongside Marcus Thuram, confirming his full readiness for the upcoming clash.

Midfielder Davide Frattesi also missed training due to a minor injury but will be included on the team's bench.
