Sports journalist Hamid Al-Qarni revealed that the management of Al-Hilal Club is leaning towards new coaching options after excluding three prominent names that were proposed to lead the team in the upcoming period.

Al-Qarni confirmed that the names removed from Al-Hilal's considerations include Spaniard Xavi, Italian Massimiliano Allegri, and Portuguese Nuno Santo, as the management searches for a technical project that aligns with the club's ambitions.

He clarified that Portuguese Marco Silva has become the closest option, given his extensive experience and a coaching style that matches Al-Hilal's identity and its well-known attacking approach on both local and continental levels.

Al-Qarni noted that Silva is among the coaches capable of delivering organized and attractive football, which enhances his chances of being at the helm of Al-Hilal's technical staff soon.

Regarding Italian Simone Inzaghi, Al-Qarni explained that his current engagement with Inter Milan in the UEFA Champions League semi-finals, and his preparation for participation in the 2025 Club World Cup, prevented him from accepting the offer from Al-Hilal.

Al-Qarni emphasized that the timing of the negotiations played a significant role in Inzaghi's absence from the scene, despite the great appreciation he receives from Al-Hilal's management and fans.
