The Syrian star Omar Al-Soma continues to break records, having scored a new hat-trick that led Al-Orouba to victory over Riyadh in the thirtieth round of the Saudi Roshan Professional League.

Al-Soma raised his tally to 154 goals in the Saudi league, widening the gap with Moroccan striker Abderrazak Hamdallah of Al-Shabab, who has 148 goals, allowing Al-Soma to maintain his historical lead in the league's top scorers.

Al-Soma also succeeded in equaling the record of Hamdallah and Salem Al-Dosari as the most players who have scored goals for multiple teams in the league's history, confirming his position as one of the most prominent scorers in the history of Saudi football.

He achieved an exceptional accomplishment by being the first player to score more than ten goals in nine consecutive seasons he participated in the Saudi league, reflecting his consistent performance and significant impact over the years.

Al-Soma has scored 14 hat-tricks during his career with several clubs, most notably Al-Ahli, Al-Arabi, and Al-Orouba, in addition to Al-Fotuwa of Syria and Al-Qadisiyah of Kuwait, in a scoring record considered one of the best in the region.

Since joining Al-Orouba last January, he has scored ten goals out of the 17 the team has scored, and provided three assists, significantly contributing to the team's escape from the relegation zone.

The team's coach, Spanish Antonio Cazorla, praised Al-Soma and considered him a game-changer, expressing pride in coaching him for his outstanding performance and discipline both on and off the field.
