
Officially.. A New Broadcaster for Local Championships in Saudi Arabia
The Saudi Professional League Association, the First Division League Association, and the Saudi Football Federation announced today, Saturday, the awarding of broadcasting rights for local championships to 'Thamanya' starting from the next season.
'Thamanya' has secured the rights to broadcast the King Abdulaziz Cup, the Roshan Saudi League, the Saudi Super Cup, and the Yelo First Division League in the Middle East and North Africa for the period from the 2025/2026 season to the 2030/2031 season.
This announcement came after a competition among several prominent companies specialized in media, digital broadcasting, and television both locally and globally.
'Thamanya' will be responsible for broadcasting and covering the championship matches and presenting them to the audience in two ways: digital broadcasting and satellite broadcasting via new television channels.
Matches will be broadcast through two channels, the first being free via satellite channels, and the second through subscriptions to specific packages that include additional features.
