Duhok Club's coach, Swedish Masoud Miral, expressed his great happiness with the precious victory his team achieved against their host, Naft Basra, with a score of one goal to none, in the 31st round of the Iraqi Stars League, confirming that the team has regained part of its balance after a period of fluctuations in results.

He said: "I am very happy with this result, the match was not easy at all, we played against an opponent fighting for survival, and they have players with physical strength, but we maintained our calm and focus and were able to score at a crucial time."

He continued: "After the Gulf Championship, we went through some pressure, it is natural to experience a mental and physical decline, but today the team showed a strong desire to return to the right path, and achieving an away victory is a testament to the team's character."

He added: "The red card that Yannick Zakri received confused us in the final minutes, and it could have complicated things for us, but the remaining players handled it wisely and professionally by closing the spaces and controlling the tempo until the end of the match."

He further stated: "We have good elements, and I trust all the players, now we need to close the chapter on Naft Basra and think about preparing well for the remaining matches, as every point will be crucial in the final standings."

He concluded: "I thank the fans who always support us, whether inside or outside the stadium, and I promise them that we will fight until the last moment to finish the season in a position befitting the name of Duhok Club."
