Sanchez: Our goal is to win the championship and we now face the Kawasaki battle
Spanish coach Felix Sanchez of Qatar's Al Sadd revealed his team's chances in competing against Saudi teams for the AFC Champions League title this season.
Al Sadd is preparing to face Japan's Kawasaki in the quarter-finals of the AFC Champions League on Sunday at Abdullah Al-Faisal Stadium in Jeddah.
Sanchez said during the pre-match press conference: "Since we arrived in Jeddah, we have had one goal, which is to win the championship."
He added: "We have a battle tomorrow, and that is what we are focusing on. We will take the championship step by step until we move forward."
Sanchez concluded: "We must focus on ourselves. We are here to achieve pride and accomplishment, and focusing on anything else does not concern us. The most important thing is to focus on the match, and we will play against a good team."
