Egyptian Team Fails to Qualify for Confederation Cup Semi-Finals

Al-Masry SC failed to qualify for the semi-finals of the African Confederation Cup after losing to Tanzanian Simba 4-1 on penalties in the second leg of the quarter-finals.

The match between Al-Masry and Simba, which took place today in the second leg of the tournament, ended with a 2-0 victory for Simba in regular time, matching the same score that Al-Masry achieved in the first leg, and penalties determined Simba's qualification.

Simba's first goal in today's match was scored by Eli Mbanzo in the 22nd minute, followed by Stephen Mukwala adding the second goal in the 32nd minute.

The first leg match, which was held at Borg El Arab Stadium, ended with Al-Masry SC winning 2-0 through Salah Mohsen and Nigerian John Ebuka.
