Reports indicate that Saudi club Al-Ettifaq has entered negotiations with German club Wolfsburg to sign Algerian striker Mohamed Amoura.
The management of Al-Ettifaq aims to finalize the deal with Amoura during the summer transfer window, having allocated 50 million euros for the player's purchase along with an annual salary of 12 million euros.
The negotiations with Amoura came after the injury of the team's striker Moussa Dembélé, who will be sidelined until the end of the season, in addition to the declining performance of Ekambi.
Amoura, 24 years old, has delivered an impressive performance this season with Wolfsburg, scoring 18 goals in 27 official matches.
Al-Ettifaq, currently in seventh place in the Roshan Saudi League standings, is preparing to face Al-Qadisiyah in the upcoming Eastern Province derby.
