Portuguese coach José Bezerra commented on his team's victory over Ceramica Cleopatra in the semi-finals of the Egypt Cup and Zamalek's qualification for the final.

The match between Zamalek and Ceramica, which took place yesterday evening, ended with a score of 2-1 in favor of the white team.

In the other semi-final, Pyramids defeated Al Ahly Bank with a score of 4-0, allowing the sky-blue team to qualify for the final match.

Bezerra said during the press conference after the match regarding the renewal of Zizo's contract: "Zizo is a player at Zamalek, and I only focus on the fact that he has a strong personality."

He added: "It is not easy for him to participate after his time with the Egyptian national team, and no one can criticize Zizo, nor do I want anyone to worry about him."

He continued: "Zizo returned from the national team a short while ago, and in my opinion, he was the best player in the Egyptian national team, and it is important to keep him safe from injury despite the player's desire to play in the match."

He added: "It is better for me that Zizo plays 30 minutes while he is ready than to play 90 minutes while he is not in good physical condition."

Bezerra explained the reason for substituting Saif El-Jaziri and bringing in Mustafa Shalaby instead, saying: "Mustafa Shalaby's participation in the striker position is because I trust the player and also trust Nasser Mansy."

He added: "Mansy was sick, and I had previously discussed with Mustafa Shalaby the possibility of utilizing him in the attacking position."
