Minister of Youth and Sports: I did not intervene in Zizo's contract renewal with Zamalek
Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, the Minister of Youth and Sports, revealed the truth about his intervention in renewing the contract of Zamalek star Ahmed Sayed Zizo with the club.
He confirmed during the program "Hadret El Mowatin" on "Al-Hadath Al-Youm" channel: "I had a conversation with Ahmed Mustafa Zizo on the sidelines of the Egyptian national team camp before the match against Ethiopia, and the player asked me to intervene to disburse bonuses for the Olympic team players after a delay in payment."
He pointed out that he is close to all players of the national teams in all sports, and it is natural for Zizo to communicate with him.
Regarding his communication with Zizo for the purpose of renewing his contract with Zamalek and preventing his transfer to Al-Ahly, he said: "I will not dwell on matters that are too trivial for a minister or official to address or consider."
