Liverpool FC announced today, Thursday, the reason for the exclusion of their Dutch midfielder Ryan Gravenberch from the national team's camp, as he left the squad due to a fitness-related issue.

The 22-year-old player was included in the Netherlands national team list in preparation for the match against Spain in the UEFA Nations League, alongside his Liverpool teammates Virgil van Dijk and Cody Gakpo.

The club's official website stated that Gravenberch will undergo a medical evaluation upon his return to Merseyside, as the team prepares to face Everton on April 2 in the 30th round of the Premier League.

The player is considered one of the key figures in Liverpool's midfield, having participated in 41 matches across all competitions this season, scoring two goals during that time.

Liverpool currently tops the Premier League table with 70 points, 12 points ahead of their closest rivals Arsenal, and the team needs 16 more points from the remaining 9 matches to officially secure the title.
