Mohamed Amara, the former Al Ahly star, confirmed that the level of Hazem Emam, the former Zamalek star, was better than that of Mohamed Abu Trika, the former Egyptian football icon.
Amara stated on the podcast "On the Bench": "I played with Hazem Emam for 10 years, but I didn't play much with Mohamed Abu Trika."
He added: "Hazem Emam is better than Mohamed Abu Trika. Abu Trika is a remarkable player with skills and scores goals, but Hazem is on another level."
He continued: "I love Hazem Emam because he was with me in the youth national team, and he is better than Shikabala, the captain of Zamalek."
