Moroccan player Ashraf Ben Sharqi expressed his happiness to be part of the Al Ahly squad, confirming that he waived $700,000 from Qatari club Al Rayyan to join Al Ahly.
Ben Sharqi stated on the program "Ramez Elon Masr" on MBC Masr channel that Zamalek player Nabil Emad Donga contacted him a year ago to transfer to the white team.
The Moroccan star confirmed that he is aware of the sadness of Zamalek fans due to his transfer to their traditional rivals Al Ahly.
He expressed his hope for Zizou to join Al Ahly and play alongside him.
