Ahmed Hassan, the former Zamalek star, confirmed that the club's management is planning to renew the contract of the team's star, Hamza Mathlouthi.
Ahmed Hassan stated via Facebook: "A source from Zamalek: We will renew for the Tunisian Hamza Mathlouthi and he will not be let go, and he will return normally at the end of the season."
Zamalek is preparing to face their counterpart Smouha tomorrow, Saturday, in the quarter-finals of the Egypt Cup.
The match between Zamalek and Smouha will kick off at 9:30 PM Cairo time and 10:30 PM Mecca time.
